Terms of use

Article 1 (Scope)

These terms apply to the website operated by meguri Inc. (“we”, “us”) and to transactions in products and samples requested through the website.

Article 2 (Orders and formation of contract)

A sales contract is formed when you place an order through a form on the website or by email, we send you a quote and invoice, and you complete payment.

Article 3 (Prices and payment)

Prices are as stated on each product page or in our quote. Payment is made in advance by Wise or PayPal.

Article 4 (Shipping and delivery)

After confirming payment, we ship products from the producers’ factories and warehouses. Ownership of and risk in the products pass to you when they are handed over to the carrier. However, for transactions in which we bear duties and taxes (DDP), they pass to you when you receive the products.

Article 5 (Import procedures)

You are responsible for obtaining any registrations and licenses required in the importing country. We will cooperate in preparing the necessary documents. The allocation of duties and taxes is shown for each country in our quote.

Article 6 (Returns)

Only if a product is damaged or differs from your order, and you contact us within 7 days of arrival, will we replace it or issue a refund. Because these are food products, we do not accept returns for reasons of customer convenience.

Article 7 (Prohibited acts)

You may not resell our products using the name or logo “Omakase Matcha” without our permission.

Article 8 (Limitation of liability)

Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the products.

Article 9 (Intellectual property)

The rights to the text, photographs and logos on the website belong to us or to their rightful owners.

Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute relating to transactions.

Article 11 (Amendments)

We may amend these terms as necessary. Amended terms take effect when they are posted on this page.
